Is there a dress code?

All black attire! We invite you to embrace a glamorous and dramatic look that lets your inner diva shine. Get ready to dress to impress and make a bold statement on our special night. Women: long black gowns Men: black suits (white dress shirts under black suits are fine, if preferred!)

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We love you and wish we could include everyone, but we’re keeping the wedding very intimate. If a guest’s name isn’t listed on your invitation, we’re unable to accommodate additional guests.

Are kids welcome?

We adore your children… which is exactly why we’re not bringing them on a riverboat full of cocktails, cigars, gambling, and dance moves that shouldn’t be witnessed by minors. We hope you can celebrate with us!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at 2:45 for a 3 PM start time.

What time should I be at the boat dock? Will it wait for me if I arrive late?

Answer

5:45 PM - Arrive 6:00 PM - Boarding Begins 6:15 PM - Departure *Please note that the dock has to be reserved. Therefore, the captain can not wait for any guests that are running late. Please plan accordingly and factor in traffic!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Ceremony: There is plenty of parking available at the chapel! Lake Austin Riverboat Reception: Please note there is no parking at Oyster Landing (Hula Hut, Quince, Mozarts) — towing is enforced. For our 5:45 PM arrival, you may park on the street, in the COA metered lot (1501 Scenic Dr.), or in the LCRA visitor parking across the street (opens at 5:30 PM). Parking fills quickly, so Ubering or carpooling is encouraged!
