We met during Amanda's law school internship with the Army. We spent the summer playing softball together and Amanda left her number on his desk. We hiked the W Butte Trail and bonded over Hawaiian pizza, and when Amanda left to go back to finish law school, Chris promised to call "a couple times a week" and we would see if it worked out long distance. A few weeks of FaceTiming every day later... we knew this was it. We have been through multiple life events like Chris getting ready to leave active duty, Amanda entering active duty, "The Fish Incident of 2024", finishing law school and the Bar Exam, adopting our handsome little Waldo, and we love each other more and more every day (as long as we don't talk about the fish incident). No matter what goes on, we spend our days laughing, and are excited to share this moment with our family and friends, dedicating our lives to loving each other endlessly. Though we got married legally on New Year’s Eve in Eagle River, we want to come together with everyone we love and celebrate in the sun.
