Although we love your children, this will be an adult-only event.

What should I wear?

Answer

Festive Formal. We want you to be comfortable but stylish! Dress to impress. The parking lot is gravel so choose your shoes wisely.

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

The deadline is July 1, 2023. Since this is a destination wedding, we would like the RSVPs to be mailed back ASAP. We appreciated your timeliness with this matter.

Where is the ceremony?

Answer

We will be having a Catholic wedding with mass at Our Lady of the Seas in Buxton, NC. If you are not Catholic, we still want you to attend. You may receive a blessing from the priest or remain at your seat at the time of communion.

Where is the reception?

Answer

There will be a reception following the church ceremony in the church hall. The hall is located in the same parking lot as the church.

Is there a block of hotel rooms?

Answer

We did not reserve a block of hotel rooms due to the fact that there are no large hotels in the area. We listed several different options available for your trip. We hope you are able to find suitable accommodations.

Can I take photos?

Answer

Of course, we want everyone to help us document and remember this big day but we ask that the church ceremony be phone free. Please send any videos and photos to the bride and groom after the reception. We would love to see them!

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Even though it is the "off-season", locals will still be swimming so pack a swimsuit. The weather will be warm and enjoyable.
