What’s the altitude going to do to me?

Answer

Who knows! It could make you super sick or it may not affect you at all. But just in case, be sure to drink plenty of water before you arrive. Some other tips for staying healthy at elevation are to load up on carbs, grab a can of oxygen when you arrive, or even spend your 48 hours in Denver where the altitude is 5280 feet, rather than going all in and climbing to 9280 feet in an hour and a half. You also may want to limit your alcohol consumption.

Do I have to stay in Keystone?

Answer

No, there are hotels and condo/home rentals in the surrounding areas of Dillon, Silverthorne, Frisco, and Breckenridge.

Do I have to book lodging through Keystone Resort?

Answer

No, but to receive the 20% discount you must book by calling Keystone group reservations with our personal booking code. Otherwise, there are several other property management companies that will rent the same type of condos that Keystone rents. Summit Cove, Sky Run, Vacasa, and Summit County Mountain Retreats, are just a few in the area that you may want to check out.

Are there any hotel options for lodging?

Answer

Yes. There are some less expensive hotel lodging options in Keystone and the surrounding towns. Two Keystone options are The Keystone Lodge and Spa and Hyatt Place Keystone. Both hotels are located along the shuttle route.

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

There will be shuttles running to and from the venue at specific times and locations. Pick up times and locations: 4:10 PM pick up at River Run (River Run Village stop on Ida Bella Drive) 4:15 PM Keystone Lodge and Spa (front entrance) 4:20 PM Hyatt Place Shuttles returning to these locations from the venue will run at 9:30pm and 10:30pm. Please note that parking at the venue is limited and cars cannot be left overnight.

What’s going on after the wedding?

Answer

We will be hosting an open house brunch at Chad and Amanda’s house in Silverthorne the morning after the wedding (Sunday, July 13th). Stop by anytime from 10:00am to 2:00pm for a breakfast goodies and mimosas. The address is 6751 Ryan Gulch Road, Silverthorne 80498. Also, if you wish to hang out with the bride and groom after the wedding reception, we will be heading over to the Snake in Keystone to continue the fun. Hope you can join us!
