Marathon, Texas and Big Bend National Park is a special place, showcasing volcanic geology and vast remoteness. Cecil was lucky enough to visit as a young child and several times since living in Midland. In January 2023, he surprised me with a trip through the park, visit to Santa Elena canyon, and a stay at the Gage. We adore this part of the world we call home and can’t wait to enjoy it with you all!
