We've chosen to hold our ceremony privately at the courthouse in Hillsborough, NC ahead of our celebration with family and friends. This best suits our relationship and frees us of stress to enjoy the party with you!

What should I wear?

Answer

Cocktail Attire: Wear playful cocktail dresses, little black dresses, dressy jumpsuits, jackets and slacks. There is no restriction on color, other than white, obviously. Guests are welcome to pull inspiration from our color palette above. This is a party, so have fun with it!

Are kids invited?

Answer

While there are lots of little ones in our lives whom we love dearly, this is not the event for them. This is a party for adults to let loose and enjoy themselves, kid-free.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

If a plus one is not included on your invitation, we ask that you please not bring an uninvited guest. If you'd like to know who is planning to attend that you might know, please contact Amanda or Carl, and we'd be happy to connect you ahead of the celebration.

What is the reception venue like?

Answer

The reception will take place mostly indoors, but if the weather is nice, there might be outdoor seating options available, as well. Seating is mixed, with a variety of comfy lounge areas, dining tables, and bar stools. Guests will be encouraged to mingle and move throughout the evening, with no assigned seating.

How's the parking?

Answer

There is plenty of free parking surrounding the venue, but guests are encouraged to carpool as able. The venue is located in Reynolda Village, a mixed-use shopping and event center. Our guests are not likely to be the only folks in the area at the time of the party, so parking is not reserved solely for us.
