Question

What is Madrona Bluff House?

Answer

Madrona Bluff House is an Airbnb owned and hosted by the Matron of Honor, Alyce, and her husband Wilson. Acquired in 2020, the first time Amanda walked the property with her bestie, she could envision marrying Bryant on that very spot, and conspired to make it a reality once he finally popped the question.

Question

What are your wedding colors?

Answer

Our wedding colors are Blueberry, Plum, Kale, Mustard, and Merlot.. otherwise know as Jewel Tones, but with a chef/bartender flair.

Question

What is the expected attire?

Answer

If you would like to stay on brand with colors, it would make Amanda's photo dreams come true, but we are just happy for you to be comfortably classy. Star Wars shirts and blazers will be welcomed! The event will largely be outdoors, and we are working on contingency options, but guest should bring what they need to feel agreeable.

Question

Will you be dressing up as Star Wars characters?

Answer

As much as we love a good costume party, we will not be walking down the aisle as Han and Princess Leia. While there is an underlying theme of Star Wars in keeping with May the Fourth fun, most costume items will be found in the photo props. However, no guest will be turned away for showing up in full getup if that is their jam!

Question

Where do we park?

Answer

This will be updated once we have a clear plan.

Question

Can we bring a tent and camp out?

Answer

Totally! If you are brave on chilly nights and don't want to book accommodations or take the ferry back, bring your gear.

Question

How often do the ferries run?

Answer

Typically ferries run every half hour between Mukilteo and Clinton, with the last couple ferry departures at 11:30pm and 12:30am. An excellent app to download is Ferry FYI. Here you can see ferry times, delays, and how full they are. Plan ahead for peak hours!

Question

What if I can't make it?

Answer

Not to fear! We are keeping this ceremony small and intimate, but are planning a bigger party for our official reception on Labor Day Weekend, Sunday, September 1st, 2024, at Lake Rosiger, near our hometown of Snohomish, WA. Everyone invited to the ceremony should plan on it!

For all the days along the way
