It was the summer of 2016 the birds were a chirping, the sun was shining, the wind was blowing just enough to keep everyone cool, and Tinder (AKA internet dating) was the thing to try. We dove in and put our profiles out there for fate to bring us a partner for life. Well, it did. We matched and soon started messaging each other because, that is how it works on the Tinder website, for those of you who do not know. So long story short after about a month of messaging we finally had our first date and both went home feeling, is this it?, is she/he the one? As they say the rest is history.!

Haha the Proposal was... Do I need to say? Amanda was surely surprised! I popped the big question at my super special amazingly fantastic 40th birthday party! At first I was not sure when I wanted to ask Amanda to marry me but I knew I wanted to have her reaction documented and have witnesses to share in the moment for our lifetime to come. Yes! It was May 18, a Saturday night and the time just felt oh so right! I had my birthday party and then I ate my special birthday cake. I was nervous as hell but sure, as hell this was the right time to make memories. I turned on the 360 camera to record the reaction of our friends and Amanda as I made the speech of a lifetime. Now you may be asking “why was I not invited to this super special amazingly fantastic 40th birthday party, well I cannot cook for everyone, simple as that, get over it. You’re invited to our wedding! So to carry on I thanked everyone blah blah blah for attending my birthday party and then turned my attention over to Amanda and changed it to an engagement party. I proceeded to do the usual and get down on one knee, presented the ring and popped the big question. “Will you marry me?” Oh and the rest is history. Bazinga!
