Amanda and Austin met through a campus ministry at the University of Memphis in Spring of 2017. They maintained a friendship throughout the years despite graduating from undergraduate school, moving states, and entering graduate programs. On August 13, 2022, they began dating and Amanda moved to Colorado. From the beginning of their relationship, Amanda and Austin knew they were dating towards marriage. Throughout dating, they supported each other in various areas of life, created memories, and began to imagine what life together would look like. On November 21, 2025, Austin asked Amanda to marry him and she said yes! Let's start forever.
