Where can I park?

Answer

When you come down the long driveway, you will see a large parking lot on your right. You can park anywhere in that lot. There will be parking attendants there to guide you to the right place.

Are children allowed?

Answer

No, we kindly ask that this be an adults-only affair due to the presence of alcohol at the cocktail hour and reception.

Is this an outdoor or indoor wedding?

Answer

The ceremony will be held outside, on the waterfront (weather dependent). There is a gorgeous indoor reception space with a fully covered wrap around porch.

Is there a designated smoking area at the venue?

Answer

Although the ceremony will be outside and there is a large property, we kindly ask that all smoking be done in the parking lot area. The bride has severe allergies to cigarette smoke. Please use ash trays provided. No trash, including cigarette butts, should be left on the ground. Anyone who is seen smoking anywhere else on property or throwing cigarette butts (or any trash) on the ground will be given one warning and then kindly asked to leave.

Can I take pictures?

Answer

Although we appreciate the enthusiasm, we kindly ask for an unplugged ceremony. Once the bride has made it down the aisle, we will give everyone a few minutes at the start of the ceremony to take all of the pictures they want and then we ask that all phones remain away during the duration of the ceremony. We have hired a wonderful photographer and would like to give them the opportunity to capture every moment of the ceremony without any phones in the pictures. We would like to enjoy this moment with all of you without any distractions. After the ceremony is over and the brides and groom have exited the ceremony space, take all of the pictures you want!

What if I have dietary restrictions?

Answer

Please alert the bride or groom of any dietary restrictions that may apply. The caterer does not use any peanut oil or peanut products in their kitchen.
