Flight
Santorini Airport, located near Kamari village and next to Monolithos area, has regular flights from Athens by Aegean Airlines, Sky Express and Ryanair as well as charters from many European towns. Flight duration from Athens to Santorini is about 30 minutes. Santorini is not a large island so getting from even the most distant town (Oia) to the airport takes no longer than 40 minutes.
Travel Note
Those wishing to travel by boat from Piraeus – Athens, should know there are two options: standard ferry which takes approx. 8-9 hours or speed ferry which will get you to Santorini in 4 ½-5 hours.
