After crossing paths several times socially, and Amanda being a loyal Rensselaer Honda customer, Andy reached out on April 5th, 2019 to Amanda via a social media wave. After several days of casual messaging on Facebook, Andy asked for Amanda's phone number and they were off to the races. Their first "date" was lunch at Innovo Kitchen directly across the street from Amanda’s job. Amanda made sure to schedule this over her lunch break at work, just in case she wasn't picking up what Andy was laying down. Andy and Amanda enjoyed one another's company, but things progressed slowly because all she would allow was to meet Andy at the same restaurant for like 3 straight dates, clearly Amanda wanted to take things slow. He might have squeezed a drink out of her for about an hour, before the first “real date” which finally came on May 12th. This date consisted of “take out” at Andy's house. Amanda was a little concerned when she showed up to his house and his shirt was on inside out, but she let it slide and thought maybe he was trying to set a fashion trend. They hit it off, and were quickly making plans to spend more time together. From Lake Placid to Nashville, they quickly immersed themselves into one another's lives. The saying "you don't really know someone until you spend a weekend with them" held true and they walked away wanting more time together. The moment that they fell in love with each other was during their crazy trip to Nashville. Since then, there have been many adventures. Those of you that know Andy know that sitting still is not something that he does well and he loves to be on the go. Through all of the good times and crazy adventures, these two have developed the perfect partnership. Amanda is the calm to Andy's storm, but together they always make the sun shine. In late January of 2022, the lovebirds headed south of the border for some R&R in Cabo. On their second day there, Andy and Amanda enjoyed a private, romantic dinner on the beach. This ended up being their last night as boyfriend and girlfriend as Andy had a magnificent proposal planned. From the candles, to the cowboy on the horse, Andy dropped to a knee and asked Amanda to spend the rest of their lives together. Of course she said YES! Andy and Amanda have blended their lives together and created the perfect balance. They cannot wait to spend the rest of their lives together as husband and wife and celebrate with all of you in Key Largo!!
