The groom met Jordan back in 5th Grade and became friends instantly, and have been friends ever since. Jordan is Akeem's first best friend and is so glad he met him.

Julianna

Julianna and the bride met back in college while trying to pass their math class. After multiple study sessions Julianna and Amanda became the best of friends practically inseparable.

Jake

The groom met Jake through neighborhood sports they became close always playing together. Akeem also felt that Jake was like a big brother to him during that time. Jake would always stay the night and eventually lived with akeem and his family at one point.

Allison and Amanda met years ago at their job. Allison helped the bride find her faith again showing her that god will never give her something she couldn't handle. Her words of wisdom and prayer are always there.

Micheal is the youngest brother of the bride. Akeem and Micheal always end up talking nonstop when in the same room which the bride loves.

Christina and the bride are tied together by work and the groom. Christina and Amanda met while working at taco bell , and soon found out that Christina was dating a close friend of Akeem's. The bride feels that Christina is family no blood needed after multiple holidays, night outs and, days together.

Patrice

Patrice is family with Jordan and teddy. The Akeem met Patrice through them. They grew really close when Patrice moved back to Maryland and stayed together for a period of time.

Kiara and Amanda met while working with each other. Even after they no longer worked with each other Kiara and Amanda kept the friendship going. By keeping in contact and hanging out :)

Brandon

Brandon is the little brother of the Groom. Brandon and Akeem grew up doing everything together from sports to video games. Akeem and Brandon spent a lot of their childhood playing at their mom’s job which is where their brotherly love grew strong. To this day the boys still play basketball and videogames together and Akeem feel like that’ll never change.

Chyna

Chyna and the bride worked together for about a year. Amanda and Chyna grew a bond while working together. They enjoyed going out dancing , grabbing dinner and working out.

Teddy is the brother of the bestman and that is how the groom met him. At one point jordan, teddy and their family moved away. Teddy was the first to return. When teddy returned that is when akeem and him became really close they did everything with eachother. Akeem even considers him his brothers.
