**Our Love Story** Sometimes, love finds you when you least expect it. Neither of us were looking for a relationship, but fate had other plans. It all started with an unplanned trip—Hurricane Irma brought me back home to Columbia for a week. One Wednesday night, a mutual friend invited me to the Capital City Club for drinks, and that’s where I met Ahmed. Or should I say, that’s where I was met with his beautiful smile—the kind that makes you forget everything else in the room. Before we knew it, we were sharing a chair (yes, really) and trying to figure out if we had met before. That one meeting turned into an entire evening of effortless conversation, laughter, and a feeling we couldn’t ignore—love at first sight. Since that night, we’ve been inseparable, journeying through life from Florida to Texas, North Carolina, and now, back to our hometown. Our love story has traveled miles, but no matter where we’ve been, we’ve always found home in each other. And now, we can’t wait to start this next chapter—together, forever. ❤️
