Met this guy a couple years ago working at the airport again and he presented himself as "assistant manager 2.0." Initial thought of him as I shook his hand... this guy is a jerk. Who does he think he is coming in here thinking he is better than anyone else. I already hate him. Turns out that would soon change as our story unfolds just like the Step Brothers movie. We asked a couple of question. What your favorite hobby? 3.2.1. CAMPING!!! Do you want to get into fly fishing? Yeah lets ask for the same rod for Christmas. Did we become best friend? Hell yeah!!!

When Danielle (aka Bird) came into this world, Amanda was less than excited and her words to the doctor may or may not have been “send her back!” But since then, Amanda and Bird have a bond unlike any other. The two have celebrated countless milestones, hiked many trails, and have traveled to numerous countries together.

Amanda’s sister from another mister! Amanda met Daniela when she (apprehensively) picked her up from the airport for Daniela’s first time visiting Mario’s family. Though the car ride could have been awkward, the girls bonded instantly and have shared countless laughs, hugs, and stories since!

Amanda had always talked about her big brother. Told me he was a former Marine, now Air Force guy. Real tough guy. She told me that if he ever asked me to go "snipe hunting," I should reconsider. 2 years ago we went to visit them for New Years, and after a quick safety lesson from Kenzie. We head down to begin shooting, but right before it was my turn he looks me in the eye and says " you can't stay in this family if you aren't a good shot." Guess I must have done something right that day.

Adolfo's sister, and Amanda's big sister she never had. Mara has always supported the both of them. Her dark humor and brutal honesty make her the best person to go to for advice! Even though we aren't taking her advice on this one (and not eloping like she advised), we can be sure she will be standing next to us, supporting us with both words of wisdom and TEQUILA!

Adolfo had one rule for Mara when she decided to date someone. "Make sure he can take us both out." Jesse may have not taken Adolfo out on a date yet, but I was glad he became part of our family. I've seen the way he takes care of his family and i couldn't think of anyone better to stand by our side.

From staff member to camping buddy and fellow Creek Rat. Anna literally walked into our lives from off the mean streets of College Park. No horror movie, game night, or charcuterie board is safe when Amanda and Anna get together. If you need a good song or book rec, or Lactaid, Anna is your girl!

Roommate, friend, and salsa instructor! Amanda and Allison met many years ago, but it wasn’t until they became roommates where their bond grew stronger. Always there for a friendly chat, sleeve of Oreos, or house cleaning, Allison has played an integral role in our relationship!

From roommates, to gym buddies, to Quincy's brunch buddies. David has always been a part of our lives. Someone either Amanda or I could go to and talk, or grab a beer with. Being roommates just grew our bond, and I knew he always had our best interests in mind. Especially when Beaux broke Amanda's nose and David came running upstairs to to take me down incase it was I who hurt her. So I know he will always have our back no matter what.

Noreen and Adolfo met in college through a professional medical fraternity. Interested by her culture and background, they instantly became great friends. He would later take her on as a little, and they knew that they had each others back. Wether it was girl/guy problems, advice on career paths, or just chatting about life. They knew no matter where life took them, they could always come back to a conversation like nothing had ever changed.

Since college, Anthony and Adolfo have been great friends. From margaritas on H street (and dropping a giant glass pint mug on his Big's head), to tattoo idea/runs at 1 AM. These two were always down to go with the flow. Adolfo knew Anthony was someone he could always rely on. Anthony was always one text/phone call away when ever he needed help.
