Rich and Amanda met on April 23, 2018 at Hopewell Bar & Kitchen in Allston, MA as a result of a few exchanges on Match.com. If you ask them, they will tell you they’re an online dating success story! The two had a connection from the start, and found humor in many of the same things. Friends and family often remark that they’re always laughing about something, and have way too many inside jokes. A few months after meeting, Rich and Amanda took their first weekend trip together to Kennebunkport, ME, which has become a special destination for the couple. The first year of their relationship was a whirlwind romance, marked by vacations, holidays, and moving in with one another. On February 14, 2020, an exceptionally chilly evening (even for Boston!), Rich got down on one knee and asked Amanda to spend the rest of her life with him. It was a pretty easy question!
