Though we had been working together for a while before becoming close, what actually brought us together was our passion against declawing. Rebecca was doing a surgical revision on a four paw declaw and Amanda was the technician monitoring the cat under anesthesia. In typical Rebecca surgery fashion; we had four hours to get to know each other and we chatted about a lot of things. From there we became closer and closer.

We had a day date! Was it for our dating anniversary? Was it for Amanda's birthday? Or was it for an entirely different purpose? Amanda was soon to find out, each location on our date signified something special about our relationship. With the last stop being the Cleveland Botanical Gardens- one of Rebecca and Amanda's favorite places. That's where Rebecca got on one knee and asked Amanda the big question. She said yes! And now we can't wait to share the next chapter in our fairy tale together... The Wedding!
