The Reverend Camie Dewey was called to serve as Associate Rector for Mission and Formation at St. Timothy's in July 2019. Camie grew up in Riverton, Wyoming, and she holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Vocal Performance from Colorado Mesa University in Grand Junction. While completing this degree, Camie began attending St. Matthew's Episcopal Church, where she would eventually discern a call to ordained ministry. Camie attended Seminary of the Southwest in Austin, TX in 2016. During her time in seminary, Camie served as seminarian intern at St. David's Episcopal Church in San Antonio. She graduated from Seminary of the Southwest in May 2019, and joyfully accepted the opportunity to serve the St. Timothy's community as her first call out of seminary.

Here is my faith statement: If it is a sin to love extravagantly without exception, then let me sin boldly. It is my guiding motto of life and ministry, even as I continue to learn and welcome new folks and ideas into my life as a person and as an ordained minister of Word and Sacrament. It's not an easy thing to love extravagantly in this time - where sides are facing each other with clenched fists and hardened hearts - and yet I can't help BUT do this. For me, it means calling attention to the abundance that we have as God's people and to name the sins that keep us from living into God's amazing, abundant love for all that God has created. It means being aware of the interconnectedness we share and affording others the opportunities to experience that love for themselves.
Ernestine Mundy
Matriarch of the Bride
Ernestine (Williams) Mundy grew up in Cairo, IL. She experienced primary & secondary school across multiple states (IL, MI & NY). Ernestine married her late husband the summer before her senior year of high school when she was 17 & he was 25. They lived with her mom during the first year of their marriage (Cairo, IL). After her eldest child Sonya was born they moved down the street & started the beginning of what would become a beautiful family. Three months after their third child was born (Robin) they decided to move to Palmyra, MO, where Ernestine has resided for 56 years. Ernestine currently has 6 children, 16 grandchildren, & 10 great grandchildren. Ernestine is an avid bowler, an active member in her church and has become the second greatest influence in Mia's life outside of Jesus.
Sonya Gardner
Mom of the Bride
Sonya Gardner is the proud mom of Mia Y Mundy and Andrew E Mundy and she is pleased to welcome a new daughter to our family. Sonya is employed by Cracker Barrel of Columbia, Mo. She is a member of Progressive Missionary Baptist Church located on Banks Avenue of Columbia, Mo. Sonya enjoys time spent with family, sports of all kinds including fishing and bowling. She is honored to be a part of this union between Mia and Amanda.
Claudia Geraci
Mother of the Bride
Claudia Geraci hails from Posen, Illinois. She currently resides in Estill Springs Tennessee with her husband Jim and has since 2005. She is a proud and blessed mother of two and retired after 9 yrs from an oral surgeon office, she is now back as part time office help. She enjoys working around her property and making piles of wood to burn bonfires as well as traveling to the Chicagoland area to spend time with family. Momma Claudia is blessed that Amanda found a safe place and amazing soul in Mia and is excited to celebrate their union!
Karissa Rusu
Lead Matron of Honor
First met Mia as a high school sophomore exploring Hannibal-LaGrange College. Later, Mia would coach me through HLG freshmen drama and mentor me through some of my biggest faith questions. Mia moved across the U.S. and I to Africa, but she remained a steadfast friend. I love hearing Mia tell a story and adore her sense of humor. In 2018, Mia and Amanda were passing through St. Louis. Together, they recounted in hilarious fashion their road trip from Houston and what they learned about each other. I’ve been honored watching their relationship grow and can’t wait to celebrate with you God’s kindness in bringing them together - I’m certain that like the St. Louis road trip, there will be tons of laughter for the ride, a relentless learning of one another and a steadfast love for the ages.
Michael Geraci
Best Man
Amanda fondly calls her brother "Beavis". Amanda and Michael grew up together in Posen, IL. Still to this day Michael is one of Amanda's favorite people & best friends. Our siblings are literally our longest relationships most of the time & the connection Amanda & Michael share will last a lifetime. Michael currently resides in Midlothian, IL & has a beautiful little girl named Remedy. Michael is a great father & a wonderful brother & we are honored that he is sharing this special day with us.
Danielle Kuntz
Matron of Honor
Is Mia's sister from another mister (some may say a black mister but we digress ;)) Danielle has come to represent the personification of "Home" for Mia. Danielle has a way of getting Mia to be able to "pause" just before she does what only Mia can do. The ability to "pause" has prevented so much hurt from spreading and has allowed Jesus to truly help Mia heal in so many ways. Danielle inspires Mia like very few people can or do. Danielle was one of the first friend's Mia ever had that truly unconditionally loved her, no matter what. Danielle will always be "Home" for Mia regardless if they reside in the same city, state, or even country. Danielle is the ideal safe place for Mia and one of Mia's greatest joys was introducing Amanda Ann to Danielle. There is no place like HOME!
Megan Impero
Maid of Honor
Megan & Mia met in 2011 through the church they were both attending at the time. Megan is a Global Mobility Consultant for a large global engineering company managing expatriate assignments. She loves to travel & has big dreams of seeing the world! Megan considers herself a “foodie” & can recommend all the good spots to grab a bite to eat in the city of Houston. Megan is currently in the process of building her first home, & has plans to foster children in the future. Megan has a love for Houston sports that runs DEEP. She has been a Texans football season ticket holder for 9 years and for the past 3 years Mia ( & most recently now Amanda) have joined in on the fun! Megan & Mia’s mutual love of sports was a catalyst that helped ignite a fierce friendship that will last a lifetime.
Mark Sendra

Mark is a 50 year old father of four that met Amanda while performing in a play at our local grade school. Amanda and Mark performed in St. Stanislaus's production of The King and I in 1995, and became friends. Mark is a veteran of the USAF, and a journeyman electrician in the Chicagoland area. He also plays the guitar in his church and local bands from time to time. Most of Mark's time is spent as Dad, and he is very happy to celebrate Amanda and Mia's life together.
David Kuntz
Wedding Host Manager
David met Mia in college during Junior year. Jesus used David's life and influence to empower Mia to rededicate her life to Jesus in college. There was always something different about David, not just his good looks, his physical abilities, or his sense of humor. There was immense joy. Mia has watched David walk through some pretty highs & some pretty lows & one thing remains true, Jesus's profound impact on David's life. David & Mia thoroughly enjoy challenging the way the other thinks & getting to see how Jesus moves through each one of them. David has become the older brother Mia never knew she needed (by 6 days but yes it still counts). David is one of three men that have had the utmost positive impact on Mia's life outside of Jesus and for that we are eternally grateful.

Amber has been a friend of Mia's since 2012 when they met at the Houston Vineyard church. She has an exciting career supporting software for a tanker shipping company. Amber & her husband are licensed foster parents, they are both currently waiting on the Texas family courts to adopt their three foster daughters. Amber enjoys buying and remodeling old houses. Currently she lives in one of the original Victorian homes of Houston; it was built in 1902. Her husband's great-grandparents immigrated from Sicily and bought the home in 1941. They are the fourth generation to live there. She worked to convert a portion of the property into a studio apartment which rents nightly on Airbnb. If you want to strike up a conversation with her, talk about investing, house flipping and remodeling.

I met Mia through my wife Karissa, the lead matron of honor. My favorite memory of Mia took place during one of her trips to Missouri when her, Karissa and I night capped at our dining room table where we talked for hours and enjoyed a few glasses of wine followed by some Cognac. I love experiencing wine with those who appreciate it and look forward to sharing many more bottles of wine with Mia and Amanda around our table in the years to come. My favorite trait about Mia is her upfront honesty- she doesn't sugar coat anything. I also really admire Mia’s ability to cast a vision and then make that vision a reality. I know we will experience the fruits of this on her and Amanda’s big day!
