When is the room booking deadline?

Answer

The room booking deadline is March 1, 2026. Amanda and Matt will reach out to each individual regarding which rooms to book via the portal once it is set up for your use. IMPORTANT: The booking for your stay is non-refundable.

What do I do if something changes and I can/can't make it after I have RSVP'd?

Answer

Please let us know as soon as possible so we can make any necessary adjustments. We completely understand that things come up, and the sooner we know, the better we can plan.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space at our venue, we are only able to accommodate guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, it will appear under your name when you RSVP through the website. If this is the case, please be sure to list the name of the guest who will be joining you. Thank you for your understanding!

Are children allowed to attend?

Answer

While we adore your little ones, we’ve chosen to keep our wedding an adults-only celebration. Only those whose names appear on the invitation are able to attend. Thank you for understanding!

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

This is Scotland—so you could experience all four seasons in a day! Weather permitting, the ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors (So consider sturdier footwear). We’ll keep all guests in the loop if this were to change.

Where can I park my car when I arrive?

Answer

If you choose to rent a car, our venue has enough parking for all guests. Taxis are very easy to use in/around Inverness, and we have arranged for transportation on May 22, 2026 to take everyone back to Inverness train station.

Can I take pictures with my phone?

Answer

We have hired a photographer to capture how the ceremony looks. We have invited you so you can capture how the ceremony feels. We ask you turn off your electronics during our ceremony to ensure you are in the moment and not in the way of our photographer. After the ceremony is complete and the wedding party has exited, you may turn on your devices and take pictures of whatever you wish!
