We met in a mindfulness class online, where we were paired together as partners and began taking walks to review our homework and talk about life. What started as simple conversations quickly became something deeper. We discovered a shared love for nature, presence, and the quiet magic found in life’s everyday moments. From the beginning, there was an ease between us — a sense of grounding and calm that felt familiar and safe. Our first date was a hike at Hunter Creek Trail, followed by longer adventures in Tahoe, where our connection continued to grow with every step. We explored Yosemite, Tahoe, and beyond, climbing Mount Whitney together — a hike that symbolized not only accomplishment, but trust, teamwork, and shared determination. Training together in Tahoe, greeting sunrises on the trail, and working toward goals side by side became some of our most meaningful memories. Along the way, we built a life filled with adventure and family, making memories in Hawaii, backpacking through the quiet beauty of Mammoth, and sharing unforgettable moments with Jude at the Grand Canyon — always alongside our sweet dog, Willow. In July 2025, Brandon proposed on a beautiful hike overlooking Lake Tahoe — a place that holds so many of our memories. Saying YES felt like stepping fully into a dream life built together. From Monday night Tahoe picnic dates in the summer to mountains climbed, lakeside sunsets shared, and adventures big and small, our love story continues to unfold. Piece by piece, moment by moment, we are creating a life rooted in presence, family, and unwavering support — a love story grounded in real life and growing more beautiful with every step.
