FAQs

Question

Where is the ceremony/reception?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will both take place at The Woods Retreat, located at 525 Leaf Street, Long Lake, MN 55356. We’re so excited to celebrate our entire day in one beautiful place with you!

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. We hope this allows everyone to relax and enjoy a special evening with us, and we truly appreciate your understanding.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is formal. For formal attire, we suggest: Women: floor-length gowns, elegant midi dresses, or formal cocktail dresses Men: tuxedos or suits with a dress shirt and tie or bow tie We kindly ask guests to avoid casual attire such as jeans, sweaters, or everyday cocktail wear. We can’t wait to see everyone dressed up with us!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate guests whose names are listed on the invitation. If a plus one is included, it will be clearly indicated on your invitation. Thank you so much for understanding as we thoughtfully plan our day.

Question

Will the wedding be held indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will take place indoors at the Woods Retreat.

Question

Is there parking?

Answer

Yes! There is an on-site parking lot available for guests at The Woods Retreat. Please follow posted signage upon arrival.

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

We are registered at a handful of places, all of which can be found under the "Registry" tab on our website. Gifts may be shipped directly to Amanda’s parents’ home or to your own home if you prefer to bring it with you to the wedding. For those who choose to bring a gift on the day, a designated gift table will be available at the venue.

Question

Are gifts required?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is truly the greatest gift we could receive. While gifts are never expected, we are incredibly grateful for any generosity and kindness shared with us.
