We both attended Mater Dei High School, though at the time our paths didn’t quite cross the way they would later. Alex knew who Amanda was, but Amanda didn’t know Alex just yet. Life moved on, and after graduating we each went our own direction. A few years later, a couple of Instagram pictures sparked a message that would change everything. What started as a simple conversation quickly turned into something special. From the very beginning it felt easy — like we had known each other much longer than we actually had. Along the way we became best friends. Alex is the funny one, Amanda brings the quirky energy, and together we spend most of our time laughing. Whether we’re watching movies, joking around, or searching for our next favorite restaurant, our favorite moments are the simple ones — usually with food involved. Over time our relationship grew into something deeper, built on friendship, support, and a lot of love. On August 14, 2025, Alex asked Amanda the most important question, and she said yes. Now, on August 14, 2026 — exactly one year later — we are so excited to celebrate our wedding day surrounded by the people who mean the most to us. We can’t wait to celebrate with you.

Los dos fuimos a Mater Dei High School, aunque en ese tiempo nuestras historias no se cruzaron como lo harían después. Alex sí sabía quién era Amanda, pero Amanda todavía no sabía quién era Alex.
