Tennis was how it all started. We started playing in the same tennis league outside of high school in the winter time. We met up again on the University of Scranton's courts in the spring time where we joined with our friends in a doubles match. We laughed as we played that afternoon and shortly after, TJ and I saw each other at Kohl's one day. I later got his number through Ronnie, who was our best friend who I worked with. Soon after we started to go on little tennis dates together that summer. College was starting for each of us so we lost touch until winter break and we started dating again and have been ever since. Now here we are 7 years later and getting married!

I wanted to surprise her with something spectacular... Then I remembered a cool picture we took together at Peddler's Village years ago with her family. I wanted to recreate that picture and ask her while posing for the photo. I knew I couldn't do this alone so I recruited our friends Ali and Greg to help with the proposal. We were all planning to go to Peddler's Village that day for some Christmas shopping and to see the lights (what Amalia thought anyway). We had a fun day of shopping, exploring, and looking at Christmas displays. It was then starting to get dark, time for the Christmas lights! I had Greg get us to the arches where Amalia and I had our picture taken years ago but there were too many people! Amalia started getting mad (little did she know) and said this was the worst place for a picture. Okay, Plan B! We found another glorious spot under this tree covered in twinkling lights and music playing in the background. As we posed for our picture, I got down on my knee and asked her to marry me. She Was Shocked! We rejoiced and went to an Irish Pub for dinner afterwards. It was a wonderful day we will never forget.
