Festive and comfortable! Celebratory and fun! Translate that how you wish.
If your kids are teens/adults, they are automatically part of your invite. We love your small children. You love your small children. This is a child-friendly wedding. So, you are welcome to bring yours, just make sure to include them in your RSVP if you do, so we know for catering numbers. That being said, if you want a night out without having to watch the kids, we welcome you to get a sitter. Eat without being interrupted with 1,000 questions! :) For our out-of-town guests, we are happy to personally recommend some for you, or get a local agency referral. *note: we have hired a sitter to be in one of the classrooms during the reception. The synagogue runs a preschool so there are plenty of toys, and the sitter, Claudia is amazing and runs the 1-2 YO classroom at the preschool. If your kiddo gets tired, bored, overstimulated, they are welcome to go there. The room is right off the reception hall*
Please see the "things to do" section, as we have made plenty of referrals for things to do, restaurants, breweries, coffee shops, and more!
The closest commercial airport is Indianapolis Airport. The best way to get to Bloomington is rent a car, get a ride from a Bloomington friend, lyft/uber/other car service, or the shuttle that goes from the airport to several drop off points in Bloomington. It's about 45 mins-1 hr from Bloomington. https://goexpresstravel.com
