This is a few miles long running/walking/biking path on the Downtown side of the Congaree River, also along the Columbia Canal, with beautiful scenery. There is a staircase that goes up to an apartment complex (The Esplanade at Canalside) where there are a few restaurants along the river. Very pretty at sunset.
