FAQs

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We’d love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day! Dress to impress in your best formal attire. Rich jewel tones are encouraged, but please avoid wearing shades of red.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you recieved a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding.

Question

When do we need to RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP by January 31st, using the RSVP tab on this site. If you do not RSVP on this site in time we will assume that you are unable to attend.

Question

What to do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be dearly missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “not attending” so we can plan accordingly. Thank you!

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We understand that our culture typically allows a much-delayed start time. However, the ceremony will begin promptly as scheduled.

Question

Where do I park?

Answer

Our venue has free on-site parking. We encourage guests to Uber/Lyft from the nearby hotels.

Question

Can I take pictures during the events?

Answer

We are having an unplugged event, meaning that once the ceremony begins, we ask that all phones be put away. We want everyone to be fully present with us and for our photographer to capture the best pictures of us. Once the ceremony is over, feel free to take as many pictures of YOURSELVES and EACH OTHER as you’d like. Please avoid taking photos of the bride. Please be mindful of guests who wear hijab.

Question

Will it be a mixed-gathering event?

Answer

Per Islamic ruling, the men and women will be separated for the ceremony and reception. The after-party will be a mixed gathering, but it will be a private family event.
