It was the spring of 2019 when Alyssa “bumped” into Matt at a silent disco on Ocean Beach. The bump, of course, was no accident - it was a carefully planned tactic by the bride to get the attention of the cutest boy at the party. And It worked. :) While everyone else danced at the disco with their headphones on, Matt and Alyssa slipped theirs off to talk. In the middle of the crowd, it felt like time stood still for just the two of them. What followed were a series of “chance” encounters where the universe kept putting them in one another’s path. On one of those fateful evenings, Matt asked Alyssa on their first official date. Their affection only deepened, and a few months later - helped along by the start of a global pandemic - the two made things official. 5 trips around the sun later, Matthew and Alyssa's love has grown through adventures all across the globe, new jobs and promotions, athletic endeavors both in and out of the water, celebrations, hardships, and everything in between. They are each other's biggest fans, constantly pushing one another to be the best versions of themselves while also grounding one another in the present moment. Matthew and Alyssa are most rooted in their shared values in family, friends, and ties to their growing faith. ||| If you're apart of this wedding celebration, you are apart of the community in which we founded our relationship on.
