Question

Desi weddings usually start a little bit late - what time should I come to the ceremonies / events by?

Answer

We'd really appreciate our guests to be as punctual as possible - some events and ceremonies venues have a time restriction as well, and we'd love to spend as much time with our guests as possible.

Question

I'm based outside Pakistan - do I have to wear desi clothes to every event?

Answer

Not at all - we want our guests to be at ease and comfortable! However, if you'd like to wear desi clothes and don't have any, just let a member of the wedding party know and well be more than happy to find you some options!

Question

I haven't been to Islamabad before - how will I get around the city?

Answer

for guests choosing to stay with us, our cars will be available for transportation to and from events. for guests staying separately, if you wish to carpool with us or other members of the wedding party, please let us know and we'll be more than happy to coordinate with you. also - uber isn't in Islamabad, but we do have careem which is a similar cab service.

I'm traveling from outside Pakistan and need rupees - where can I exchange money?

Answer

Do not exchange money at the airport. Islamabad "Blue Area" has a whole line of exchange places - if you need specific recommendations, just ask anyone in the wedding party.
