When our persistent friend and coworker Julie told us she wanted us to meet, we both said no. More than once. Today, we thank her for her persistence and acknowledge her very accurate intuition. Looking back on it, I feel like I can almost see it click in her brain that she needs to get us in the same place. After a few days, we finally said yes and set up a date. It was a pretty typical first date, aside from how easy it was to be with each other. From there it didn’t take long for either of us to know we were both all in.
