From the beginning, it was apparent the role chips and queso would play into our story. It was at a local taco joint during the Summer of 2015 where the roots of our relationship began. While spending a summer in Atlanta for an internship, Jason invited Alyssa to come visit - with a series of fun activities lined up. To little surprise, the weekend consisted of pick-up soccer in Piedmont Park, hiking Stone Mountain, a trip to Jeni's Ice Cream and last but certainly not least, a VIP construction site walk of the Mercedes Benz Stadium that J and his team had been working on. We surely packed it in - Jason and Alyssa style. Capping our weekend with delicious tacos, we reminisced on the past few days. Our connection and bond was evident - brainstorming thoughts around how we could extend the weekend. Instead, the anticipation grew for the upcoming Fall semester in Gainesville. We still think about the memories and butterflies that filled this weekend, which truly sparked our relationship. We have continued to hold quality time, adventure and a mutual love for the outdoors as focal points, alongside our friends and family.
