Some might say that COVID-19 was the worst of times but for us, it became one of the best. When we were unexpectedly brought back home from West Lafayette and Wisconsin, we had no idea it would lead us back to each other. Before long, we decided to take another chance on our high school relationship, which had first begun sophomore year. Back then, Zack won me over with what he proudly proclaimed was his “world-famous” coffee, something I later learned was simply made with a Keurig pod. After a long four-year intermission, that young love grew into our favorite love story.
