It's happening!

High school sweethearts? Mmm, not exactly! Even though Warren was that annoying boy that wouldn't stop kicking her chair in grade 9 religion class, that was just the beginning! From trying to set her up with his best friend, to going to prom together as pals, their 16 year history is complicated to say the least.

Hiking up the not-so-little, steeply-inclined 8.8km 'Little Beehive' trail at Lake Louise in Alberta, Warren always knew he wanted to propose on a vacation. Since the original plan of traveling to New Zealand and Australia in April was out the window, his alternative was one of the best view's in Canada! Alyssa loved to hike, so climbing a steep hill on a hot summer day seemed like a dream (lol). They made it to Lake Agnes, about 3/4 of the way to the top and Alyssa was being whiny and wanted to quit. Suddenly, best man Jeff (carrying the ring), doesn't want to take no for an answer and SPRINTS towards the last leg of the trail to make it to the top, wonky ankles and all. Alyssa moaned and groaned her way to the top and everyone finally made it. After they had wandered the area and caught their breath, they searched for a good picture spot. Alyssa always made Warren take a concerning amount of photos on vacations, so he was used to this! Alyssa, unknowingly, gave Jeff her phone and Ariella the polaroid to capture a picture of the soon-to-be engaged couple. Before you know it, Warren was on one knee and in the blink of an eye, they were engaged!
