As of right now, Governor Cuomo is limiting NY weddings to under 200 people without requiring COVID testing. Unfortunately for us, this means we can not have as many friends and family by our side on our special day as we would ideally like. With that being said, we are excited to celebrate our love in any way we can, however, not without necessary safety restrictions. For our friends and family that cannot attend in person, we will be live-streaming our ceremony. Please check back closer to the day of the wedding for more details on how to view.
We first met in a history class, Sophomore year of High School. We had quite a few mutual friends and slowly became friends ourselves. After getting to know each other better, we began to contemplate the idea of dating. We decided to give it a try and go on a first date fishing. Soon enough we decided to give our relationship a shot and take things to the next level. We have been inseparable since.
After 6 and a half years, it was only a matter of time. While I finished my degree in nursing, I told Vin he wasn't allowed to ask me to marry him until I graduated. I knew the excitement of planning a wedding would consume all of my time and would take away from my studies. Without me knowing, Vin had purchased a ring and had it in his possession for more than a year before asking me to marry him. Respecting my wishes, he waited until the time was right and got down on one knee in front of friends and family following my graduation. We were surrounded by love and ready to start our future together. We are excited to spend forever hand in hand and look forward to sharing our big moment with all of our closest family and friends.
