Our story began in August of 2021. I live in California, and my fiancé Victor lives in Alabama. We had been friends for a while, but we never spoke on a regular basis. A month went by , and a mutual friend of ours wanted to play “matchmaker” to get us together. Since we lived in different states, we had never seen each other in person before. One day when I was at work, Victor said he was going to deliver flowers to my job. So, of course went ahead and sent him the address. When my workers said that the flowers had arrived, I walked out of my office, and he was standing there with a bouquet of flowers with a note asking me to be his girlfriend.
