The Start of Forever...

We met in April of 2021 as most modern-day people tend to, on a dating app. It's safe to say that we felt comfortable with one another very quickly since we made the decision to meet for the first time at my (Taryn's) place at the time to have dinner and watch a movie. Alyssa stayed that night and essentially never left. I think we may have both gone into it with much more causal intentions, but then ended up falling for one another very hard. It's been a long journey of career changes and moving, but we've made it through it all together. We've created a family made up of us and way too many four legged babies over the years. Our engagement in October of 2022 was a total surprise to me that Alyssa planned under the impression that we were doing her graduation photos and I needed to dress up so we could get some nice professional ones done! I know, I was completely oblivious somehow. We had been looking forward to taking the next step in our relationship and making our little family more official for a long time, I just didn't expect it and it was an emotional, amazing surprise. We are so excited to tie the knot and celebrate with all our supportive friends and family in 2024!
