We’re getting married!

Our story began in high school during senior year—back when Spencer had a very important reason to talk to Alyssa: homework answers. Or so he said. Spencer already knew something special was brewing. Somewhere between class assignments and casual conversations, Spencer had his eye on Alyssa… even if the timing wasn’t quite right yet. Although our paths crossed often in high school, God had a bigger plan unfolding. It wasn’t until after graduation that our friendship grew into something more. What started so simply became the foundation of a relationship built on laughter, trust, and faith. As our love grew, so did the challenges we faced together. One of the hardest seasons came with the loss of Alyssa’s brother—a moment that tested our strength and deepened our bond. Through grief, prayer, and unwavering support, we learned what it truly means to love one another the way Christ loves us: patiently, selflessly, and faithfully. God carried us through, and our relationship was strengthened because of it. From that point on, we knew this love was different—rooted in faith and guided by God’s grace. Then, on the very beach where Spencer took Alyssa on their first date, he asked the most important question of his life. With the sound of the waves and hearts full of gratitude, Alyssa said yes. What began as homework help turned into a love story written by God Himself.
