Flight

Naples International Airport

Air Travel: Positano is a small village, so there is no airport. The closest major airport is in Naples, about 1 hour north of Positano. *When booking your flight, pay SUPER CLOSE attention to how long your layovers are so that you give yourself enough time to make your connecting flight. Arriving to Naples (airport or train station)

Use this to get around the coast if you don't have a scooter. You can find the bus schedule and routes here: https://www.positano.com/en/bus-schedule + I DO NOT recommend renting a car AT ALL in Positano. Traffic and parking are a nightmare. When you get into Positano, you can rent a scooter or rely on public transportation.

Where to Stay

*Unfortunately, room blocks are non-existent in Italy so we've thoroughly researched the CLOSEST hotels at all different budgets for you lovely people. *BOOK NOW: DO NOT wait until last minute to book your hotel or airbnb! EVERYTHING will sell out in Positano starting NOW. Waiting will leave you spending big bucks for a crappy place. Email the hotel directly AND pay in cash if they remove the “VAT.” Book stay before flight! *Airbnb's/ Vrbo's: PLEASE PLEASE know that something might say it's only 2 miles or even .5 miles from Villa Oliviero (wedding venue) but there are only TWO roads in Positano and 2 miles may take 45 mins-1 hour to get to so...Google Maps app (download now to your phone) is your best friend for life in Positano! Type in the address of the place you're looking to book and select directions to Villa Oliviero! Also, be mindful that walking from most of these places may be the EASIEST/FASTEST but it's all UPHILL (start stair stepping NOW--haha).

What to wear

Weather: This time of year is B-E-A-utiful, with highs in the 80's and a lows in the 60's. What to Wear: Think Italian summers! *Ladies (or gents): TONS and TONS of stairs and cobble stone streets, so COMFORTABLE SHOES are a must! For the wedding, bring a back-up pair of shoes (j.i.c.).

This hotel is the furthest away from our venue but an absolute Gem! It's tucked away right on the less busy beach in Positano! We stayed there a couple nights and fell in love with it's old Italian charm and the people. It's about a 25 min walk (all up stairs of course) to our venue. Email the hotel to book with attention to Gabriella. Book ASAP!
