So This Is Love

Our worlds first collided while Ryan was on a work trip to San Diego. Introduced during a group dinner, we quickly found ourselves lost in easy conversation over drinks that stretched long into the night. Hours later, after exchanging phone numbers, we said goodbye—unaware that our story was only just beginning. After several trips to San Diego and a New Year’s trip to Dallas, Alyssa packed up her life and moved into Ryan’s home in Dallas. With a little help from treats and a lot of patience we introduced our fur babies—Savannah, a 50-pound pit mix, and Kitters, an outspoken gray tabby. Eventually we all found our rhythm and settled into our new life together. Our journey later led us to Austin for two years before bringing us back to Ryan’s hometown, where we now call Fort Worth home. Surrounded by family and the people we love most, we are endlessly grateful for the life we’ve built and can’t wait to continue sharing this beautiful journey side by side.

In January 2024, we traveled to Yellowstone National Park with Ryan’s mom, Joan, and stepfather, Steve. As we waited for Old Faithful to erupt in the freezing cold, a beautifully planned surprise was quietly unfolding. Completely unaware, Alyssa was about to be proposed to on what would become the most unforgettable trip of our lives. Sharing such a meaningful moment with family made it all the more special and perfect in every way.
