Para Siempre

The day I saw her walk into my parent's backyard after 3 weeks away I knew instantly that she was the one. Not even softball could keep me from missing her, right then I knew that she was more than just my girlfriend, she was my forever. The thought of her not being around me made me realize that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her.

On a Wednesday night when playing volleyball with some friends, I noticed Roger hadn’t shown up yet. I kept wondering where he was and if he was okay because he always showed up before game time. Twenty minutes had gone by, and during that time, I noticed I was looking at the door every time it opened, hoping it was him. As the game was about to start, the door opens, he walks in, and the relief I felt was instant. The happiness, excitement, and love I experienced just by knowing I was in his presence, assured me he was the one. At that moment I knew not only did I want him on the sidelines, but the one by my side through the rest of my life.
