In 2019, Robby was a freshman in college, while Alyssa was a sophomore. We both attended the same community college and played on the school’s soccer teams. One night, the women’s soccer team threw a Halloween costume party, and that’s where our relationship began. It might not be the most romantic story, but that night there was a very special spark between us, one that would lead us to where we are today. When we first met, it was love at first sight. Surprisingly, Alyssa made the first move by texting Robby after that party, and from that moment on, we never stopped talking. We quickly realized we had so much in common, from sharing the same jersey number (#7) to coincidentally wearing the same soccer cleats. We immediately clicked and became incredibly close very quickly. Robby made it official and asked Alyssa to be his girlfriend on March 26, 2020. Over the past five years, we’ve grown up together, not just as partners, but truly as best friends. We’ve celebrated wins, supported each other through challenges, and built a life full of laughter, late-night talks, shared dreams, long-distance struggles, and most importantly, unconditional love. Through every season, we’ve chosen each other every single day. Now, we can’t wait to continue our love story as husband and wife, surrounded by all of you who mean so much to us.
