November 28, 2009 Alyssa and Ricky met for the first time with a group of friends at Starbucks in downtown Westfield. They were Juniors in high school. The first time they met they didn’t speak one word to each other. Through mutual friends the two started chatting online. April 17, 2010 Ricky asked Alyssa if she wanted to get lunch with a few friends and she agreed. He picked her up in his eighty-eight oldsmobile with two giant subwoofers in the trunk. They had a great time and spent the rest of the day together. That was the night Ricky asked Alyssa to be his girlfriend. Which was the start of why you are reading this today!

Fast forward almost a whole decade and a lot of love later, Alyssa and Ricky planned a Walt Disney World vacation together. Some of Alyssa’s fondest childhood memories are at Disney, it’s one of her favorite places. They went around the whole park going on their favorite rides and then Ricky asked Alyssa if she wanted to take a picture in front of Cinderella’s castle. She happily obliged. Turns out Ricky had a much bigger plan than just taking a picture, he proposed!


The day Alyssa and Ricky get married! This date is the eleventh year anniversary of Ricky asking Alyssa to be his girlfriend. The date holds a special place in both of their hearts and they knew they had to be married on this day!
