One of our favorite breweries, they also serve fun cocktails and have a great bar and lounge area.
Amazing Italian food. Strongly recommend making a reservation well in advance.
Delicious Italian and seafood! Highly recommended. Slightly fancier option. Strongly encourage making a reservation well in advance.
Local Irish pub right on the water! Reservations recommended.
Right next door to Oxbow Brewery where the welcome party is being held. They have the best fresh oysters and lovely outdoor seating options.
Convenient option for brunch, lunch, or dinner!
Delicious lobster rolls to grab for lunch in the heart of Old Port.
Could be a great place to check out before the welcome party or for lunch on Saturday or Sunday. Great outside seating options.
Super cool speakeasy. Near Lincoln's, The Thirsty Pig, and Novare Res Bier Cafe, all great spots.
Beautiful view to grab a drink or appetizer from the top of the Hilton.
Though slightly outside of downtown, this is our favorite brewery - great atmosphere, outside seating, yummy food.
Our favorite place to grab a lobster roll and it's right on the waterfront. Take a walk along the water after to check out the boats.
Our favorite place to grab a coffee and biscuit to go before heading home. Make sure to order ahead online for pickup as they run out early.
Brunch/breakfast - do not take reservations, typically a bit of a wait to get in, but so worth it! Their eggs benny is incredible.
The poutine is worth the wait! If you're in a pinch for time, the East Ender next door is also a great option.
Adorable coffee shop -- right near some cute shops in the Old Port.
The best late-night spot - live country music and cheap drinks.
Our favorite spot to walk by the water and sit on the grass and enjoy some bites from the food trucks that line up on the weekends. Great view of the harbor.
A fun option for a quick little day trip if you have time to stick around on Sunday or get in early on Friday.
Kayaking and paddleboarding available.
Great way to experience Casco Bay – this boat carries passengers, mail, and freight to Little Diamond, Great Diamond, Long, Cliff, and Chebeague Islands. Tour duration runs 2.5-3.5 hours.
A bit of a drive outside of Portland, though we definitely recommend stopping in on your way in or out for the views and a walk around. This is where Peter proposed :)
