Can I bring my kids?

Answer

If they are at least 9, then yes! We have an age minimum of 9 years old because our venue has a body of water that does not have a fence or barrier around it. It will be hard to see at night as well. We want to keep the little kids safe and away from that danger, especially when we will have lots of alcohol around.

What's the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire, no jeans please. Our wedding theme is celestial--moon, stars, space. We recommend wearing colors like dark purple, navy, wine, gold, silver, green, emerald. Please use this link as an inspiration!

Can I stay at a different hotel or Air B&B than what was recommended?

Answer

Yes! The hotel block we provided is not required!

Will there be a hotel shuttle?

Answer

No hotel shuttle, but carpooling and Uber/Lyft are encouraged.

Will the ceremony or reception be outside?

Answer

The ceremony will be outside and the reception will be indoors with an open patio.

Are photos allowed at the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that no one takes photos during the ceremony. We have hired a professional photographer to get pictures of us and you! We want to be able to see your full face of beautiful reactions. Plus, we don't want anyone to get in the photographer's line of sight for photos.

Where can I park at the wedding venue?

Answer

There will be parking signs in front of the venue and inside the drive way. There is a paved parking lot on the property and a grass area if it's needed. There is plenty of parking.

What is the venue?

Answer

The venue is Palma Sola Botanical Park. It is a beautiful public park and botanical garden. There is plenty of room to walk around and look at flowers and plants. There are gravel, grass, and dirt paths, and a large body of water. Please be careful walking around the property.

Can I get you something that isn't on the regristry?

Answer

If your heart desires, yes. If you can't think of anything, we have a cash fund you can contribute to instead of a gift.

Are you having an open bar?

Answer

Yes, but we ask that you kindly tip the bartender!
