Best Man
Nick and Alex became friends during welcome week freshman year, meeting in the noble halls of Territorial Hall. They both joined SAE and quickly became the best friends money can buy. Alex is a gritty product of the Northwest Suburban Conference, and recently married his lovely wife Mallory (Minnetonka) in Lucca Italy! A little bit about Alex: He graduated medical school this spring and is getting ready to start his ENT residency in Missouri. Despite the polished background, he's a sneaky good dancer, and will be a force when the DJ starts spinning.
Maid of Honor
Natalie doubles as Alyssa's older sister and best friend. Since they were kids, Alyssa has looked up to Natalie for her hard work ethic and kind heart. Although they've always been close, they continue to grow closer and closer each year. They don't see each other as much as they'd like but that will change next year when Natalie moves out to San Francisco for her fellowship program at UCSF. Alyssa couldn't be more excited to have her sister in the same city! A little bit about Natalie: She and Bryce Stash got married last May and she is currently finishing her orthopedic surgery residency in Madison, Wisconsin. She'll move to SF next summer for her fellowship program.
Groomsman
Jake (Bloomington Jefferson) is Nick's brother, having recently married his sister Grace in Lacrosse, Wisconsin. Being the same age as Jake's younger brothers Zac and Adam, Nick grew up around the Larkin family since pre-school. A little bit about Jake: He is currently an internal medicine PA at Gunderson, a world renowned hospital farmer, huge Destiny's Child fan, and the guy also absolutely shreds on a bicycle (peloton: hospitalfarmer) having accidentally won a race last summer.
Bridesmaid
Grace is Nick's oldest sister and the giggliest person you may ever meet. Tell her a good joke and she may start crying out of laughter. :) Alyssa and Grace have bonded most during their fun adventures: exploring Barcelona, trips to the cabin and most recently, Alyssa's bachelorette party in San Diego. A little bit about Grace: She is married to Jake Larkin and lives in La Crosse, Wisconsin with their two dogs. In her free time, she loves to garden, read and ride bike through the Wisconsin Driftless Area.
Groomsman
Dan (Bloomington Jefferson) is another brother of Nick's, and is married to his sister Emily. Nick grew up spending time with Dan, Timmy, Joey, John, Uncle Tim and Aunt Kelly at the Carlson household back in the day. Nick and Dan also grew up attending the same church camp in the Nisswa Area. A little bit about Dan: He is currently working at UHG, and in his free time he and Emily travel the world. He is also a three-time California visitor, and currently holds the crown as Best Bay Area Guest (2023).
Bridesmaid
Emily is Nick's older sister and is possibly the most frequented visitor to San Francisco to visit Nick and Alyssa and explore everything Northern California has to offer. Over the many visits, Alyssa and Emily have hiked Half Dome in Yosemite, skied Palisades up in Lake Tahoe, and explored the John Muir forest. Alyssa is so thankful for all of the priceless memories made. A little bit about Emily: Emily is married to Dan Larson and currently lives in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She and Dan love to travel and most recently went on a big hiking trip in New Zealand.
Groomsman
Michael is Nick's 3rd brother (pending) and product of the Lake Conference (Wayzata). Nick and Michael quickly bonded over their love/hate of Minnesota sports, capped off by attending the famous Minneapolis Miracle. The two of them lead the celebration and roughly 50 Skol chants at Eric the Red following the game. A little bit about Michael: He is currently at Arctic Wolf (howl) and is the father of the single cutest kid of all time, Gabby (see below).
Bridesmaid
Allie and Alyssa's friendship started in college (Allie was Alyssa's "big" in the sorority). A few years after college, Allie moved to San Francisco and Alyssa soon followed. They have now shared over 10 years of friendship, 4 of those spent living in SF. Whether they're working out together, going on walks by the bay, out to dinner with the girls, or even just chilling on the couch after a long workday – they know how to have a good time and Alyssa is so grateful for Allie's constant family-like support. A little bit about Allie: Allie works for a health tech company in San Francisco in product management. She is known as the planner in the friend group and knows how to get sh*t done.
Flower Girl
Gabby is Alyssa and Nick's niece (Michael's daughter) and will hands down be the cutest person at the wedding. She is a ball of energy and a little ray of sunshine in the family. A little bit about Gabby: She is three years old and currently loves the color purple, spending time with nana and papa, and eating "nacks" :)

Cole (Orono) and Nick met freshman year of college, having attended the University of Minnesota for four years together. Cole and Nick were college roommates and then became roommates again in Sacramento during Covid with Alyssa (#quarantinecrew). Cole convinced Nick and Alyssa to move to San Francisco in 2019, and then abandoned them and his parents, Meredith and Lance, for Denver last summer (not bitter). He also helped Nick and Alyssa move into every apartment they've lived in and is an all around good guy. A little bit about Cole: He works in Cybersecurity Consulting and can absolutely help you set up your Wifi if you ask him. He will also be a fixture on the dance floor and might grab the mic at some point.

Nick and Nick met in second grade, and by the end of that year it was put in their permanent record that they could not be in the same classroom together. They have remained best friends throughout the years, and captained the legendary 2012-2013 Jefferson Soccer Team together (shoutout Chuck and Kiri as well). A little bit about Nick: He recently married his High School sweetheart Whitney, and is living in Minnetonka with his wife and two doggos.

They are lucky to have the example of their moms who are also great friends and amazing role models. Outside of the "ABE trio" Alyssa and Britta share memories of going to school and church together, being soccer captains together and winning student council senate together. Britta is such a reliable and loyal friend - Alyssa is so grateful to her have her in her life. A little bit about Britta: Britta lives near Lake Harriet with her husband Kyle and cute doggo named Harriet. Ellen is the third initial in the "ABE trio" and Alyssa's other lifelong friend. Alyssa spent so much time at Ellen's house growing up, it was practically her second home. So many memories were made on Ellen's basketball court, having sleepovers, and playing night games in the neighborhood during the summer. As they've grown older, they've continued to stay best friends. Ellen visited Alyssa in Rome while studying abroad and whenever Alyssa is back in Minnesota, ABE finds an opportunity to get together and catch up. A little bit about Ellen: Ellen graduated law school this year from St. Thomas University! Following in her mom's footsteps.

Benny Daggett and Nick grew up spending way too much time in Coach Daggett's car driving to hockey and baseball while listening to to coach explain that he "possessed D1 speed" while at Lincoln. Everyone was pumped when Ben switched over to the public school system in high school and he quickly became an integral member of the soccer crew (LSBs). He loved public school so much he continued on to the University of Minnesota where Nick and Ben both joined SAE. A little bit about Ben: He is currently holding down the fort in Minneapolis and working at Wells Fargo. Unfortunately, he cannot dance.

Callie and Alyssa have been friends since freshmen year of college. They were roomies during college for 2 years and also after college for 2 years in Minneapolis before they both parted ways to opposite coasts. Alyssa cherishes the years spent living with Callie - her easy going, fun, honest and supportive personality makes her a great roommate and friend. A little bit about Callie: Callie lives in Manhattan and works for EY in accounting. These skills come in handy when splitting tabs after a group weekend or night out :)

David aka DJ Bobby Lights also jumped over from Nativity St. Mary to join the public school ranks at Jefferson and was a welcomed addition to the friend group. Despite showing excellent academic prowess throughout their coursework together in high school, David made a very unfortunate decision to attend the University of Madison-Wisconsin in college. Although the decision was not supported, Nick still had many fun weekends visiting. A little bit about Dave: Always the adventurer, he relocated to Austin after college where he works at Oracle and moonlights as a Bed & Breakfast operator. The Michelob Golden kegs are in big trouble with this guy around on August 5th.

Liz is another one of Alyssa's friends who she met freshmen year of college. Liz is the type of friend that will drop everything to support those she loves. A little bit about Liz: Liz was born with many talents, one of those being teaching. She is an elementary school teacher and also a fitness instructor in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Fun fact: she is also a great poetry writer.

Joe was also a common member of the hockey carpools with Coach Daggett. If Daggett was busy, Nick, Ben, and Joe were stuck listening to Coach Hedrick's stories of being a two sport athlete at St. Thomas. Joe was a core member of the best 4th place finishing soccer team in MSHSL history. After Jefferson, he took his talents to the University of Minnesota, where he and Nick finished the job and won an IM championship. A little bit about Joe: He is also holding court in Minneapolis and working at UBS. What Joe might lack in rhythm, he makes up for in core strength, and there will be a worm on the dance floor at some point.

A little bit about Erin: She and her fiancé, Pete, flipped a home in Eden Prairie that they're now living in. The two of them are getting married this September up at Grandview Lodge!

Charlie (Maple Grove) is another one of Nick's college friends, however he recently turned Benedict Arnold for business school at the University of Michigan. Anyone that exchanges a "Go Blue" with Charlie will be removed from the wedding immediately. In all seriousness, Charlie is one of the most genuine guys you will meet and has been a great friend to Nick over the years. There is a 100% chance he is found on the dance floor with his hair down and a huge smile. Once a face guy, always a face guy. A little bit about Charlie: He graduated business school this spring and will be heading back to Minnesota with lovely wife, Margaret, this summer.
