Alyssa was raised in Greenwood Indiana where she attended Center Grove High School. She then contiued her education at IUPUI where she graduated with a B.S. in Neuroscience in May 2019. Alyssa loves working with children and hopes to become a Registered Behavioral Technician.
Nicholas Hedlund
Groom
Nicholas grew up in both Lawrence and Carmel Indiana. Nicholas attended IUPUI and graduated with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering in May 2019. While at IUPUI, Nicholas decided to join the Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) and became a commissioned officer in the United States Army upon Graduation. Nicholas is excited for the work he will do within the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
Jaden King
Maid of Honor
Jaden is Alyssa's younger sister, best friends, and all-around amazing human. Jaden is currently a freshman studying Plant Science at Purdue University. When together, the two are most often seen either doing photoshoots of each other or going to Target. Jaden has taught Alyssa how to have fun and not worry about what everyone else thinks because smiling, laughing, and dancing are what life is about.
Alex Hedlund
Best Man
Alex is Nick's older brother, best friend, and role model. Alex is currently a Petty Officer First Class in the United States Coast Guard and is stationed in Maryland. Alex and Nick bond through playing video games with each other and sending memes 24/7. Alex loves to debate about anything and everything, so be sure to find him on the day if you're up for a good conversation.
Paige Michaels
Bridesmaid
Paige and Alyssa met in college through their soririty, Sigma Kappa. Since meeting, Paige has become Alyssa's little and they quickly became inseperable. Paige and Alyssa have a shared love for traveling and crafting. One of their favorite memories is traveling to Alabama for the Hangout Music Festival.
Sean Middleton
Groomsman
Sean and Nick met through the ROTC program at IUPUI. Eventually, they ended up with the same majors, meaning they had almost identical schedules many semesters and could be found together almost always. Sean and Nick have shared plenty of late night karaoke sessions and always turn up the heat at bonfires.
Aiden King
Bridesman
Aiden is Alyssa's younger brother and is one of the strongest and most caring people Alyssa knows. While Alyssa was in college, anytime she would visit home, Aiden would always make sure the family got in a group hug before she left. Aiden is typically pretty shy, but is very funny and goofy when he comes out of his shell.
George Hedlund
Groomsman
George is Nick's younger brother. George is currently a Junior at IUPUI with four majors: Forensic Chemistry, Forensic Biology, Chemistry, and Biology. George and Nick enjoy hiking and kayaking together.
