Alyssa and Miguel met during their freshman year of high school in science class. They started out as friends, but many of their peers teased that they should be a couple. They progressed from "just friends", to wanting to spend every moment together. Alyssa and Miguel officially started dating in the summer of 2011. They attended their junior and senior proms together (see the picture below!), and were side by side as they graduated high school. Since then, they prioritized earning their education and beginning their careers. However, they always hoped and prayed for the day that they could celebrate their love and commitment to each other with friends and family. Finally - that day is quickly approaching! Miguel proposed to Alyssa in January 2025 at one of their favorite scenic hiking trails in Monterey, CA. They are overjoyed to begin this new milestone of marriage, and cannot wait to celebrate with you!
