Our Wedding Ceremony will be outdoors in the tea garden area of Stan Hywet Hall. The reception will be indoors with A/C.

We would love our guests to take advantage of the grounds and enjoy taking photos! During the ceremony/reception, we ask that guests avoid flash photography and be mindful of our vendors who are working to ensure we have lasting memories.

Yes! Stan Hywet has transportation that will drive anyone who needs accommodation right to the ceremony & reception . The reception is accessible as well.

YES! please bring your little ones! The wedding venue has a children’s area that they are more than welcome to play at! The reception venue also has a children’s play room, baby changing tables, and private rooms should you need to feed/relax with your little one (In the AC).

Our dress code is semi-formal. We ask that all our guests be mindful of the weather on the wedding day when deciding what to wear. We also ask that guests uphold the integrity and history of this beautiful venue and dress accordingly.

The ceremony will take place at 1:30pm and guest can arrive at 1:00pm

Yes! after the ceremony, guests are allowed to tour the gardens and grounds FREE of charge. If you would like to see inside the manor, it is $9.00 admissions and the self guided tour take approximately 35-45 minutes.

Smoking/vaping are prohibited in all SHHG buildings. There are designated smoking areas guests can utilize outside.

Parking will be in the "General Parking" area and staff will be on hand to direct guests to the venue. Parking is free!

Max & I have opted for a champagne toast for our guests during our reception. There will be an afterhours gathering for anyone who would like to still join us in celebrating! Location: The Still House at Gervasi Vineyard -1700 55th St NE BLDG K, Canton, OH 44721. Time: 7:30pm-10:00pm. *A cash bar is available should guests wish to purchase their own drinks for the evening.

Our catering is served buffet style with a pre-set menu from Old Carolina BBQ. There are vegetarian options included however, any serious dietary concerns please reach out to Alyssa 216-224-7288 and she will connect with the caterer to address any needs/concerns.

In the unfortunate event that damage from a guest occurs at this historic building & grounds, the Bride & Groom reserve the right to invoice damages to the said guest who inflicts the damage. By submitting your RSVP, you are adhering to this notice & accept the terms above.
