You do not need to purchase a state park pass. We have already purchased them. When you arrive at the park a staff member will welcome you and ask for your name. If you are on the guest list, you will receive a parking pass.

We are registered at Target for most of our wedding gifts. We are also registered at Bed Bath and Beyond for a couple.
Good Earth is a state park right off of Highway 11 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. It is equipped with a visitor center and wedding ceremony venue. Everything is proximal walking distance as we wanted to be sure that all family members would have an easy time accessing the venue. The visitors center is brand new - it was built just a year or two ago and it is air conditioned. There are also indoor restrooms available. The dance floor will be set up outside as well as the DJ on a cement patio. We will also have a smores bar available. Please feel free to bring walking shoes if you would like to walk the trails. I have posted pictures under the photo tab if you would like to look at the park.
There is a cement parking lot at Good Earth. We ask that you leave front spots open for those who need a shorter walking distance. There is also handicap parking available. Behind the cement parking lot is an overflow lot which is flat, grass land.
No there is not a lot of walking unless you choose to go adventure out on a trail. The ceremony and reception locations are right next to each other. The ground is flat and easy to maneuver.
The reception will go until 10:30 pm. All cars must be out of the park by 11:00 pm. The wedding party is leaving the reception at 10:30 pm and will arrive downtown around 11:30 pm. I would highly recommend carpooling if you are able. That way, a car is not left overnight. Also, we would love for you to join us downtown if you'd like!
At Good Earth we will have a selection of beverages between water, soda, and alcohol. We are providing lol of our own alcohol. There will not be a bartender making any hard drinks. We ask that you do not bring your own alcoholic beverages to Good Earth. This is because we need to be able to control who has access to the bar and we have four people who will be ensuring all drinking are above 21.
You can RSVP by either texting me or by going to the “RSVP” tab on this website and typing in your first and last name. If you have others joining you in your family you will also be able to RSVP for them.
