Welcome!

Hello! We are so thankful for each and every one of you during this hard, and crazy time. With that being said, we have decided to have a small, intimate ceremony with immediate family on June 6th! We cannot wait to get married! We will then have a reception on August 1st with everyone! We can't wait to celebrate with you and are hoping and praying that plans don't have to change again! Thank you for being flexible and understanding during this time!

After a long day of student teaching, Alyssa came out to her car to find a note on her windshield from Lane. In the note, there was a bible verse, a few pictures of Lane and Alyssa, and a destination as to where to go next. After the first note, Lane lead Alyssa on a scavenger hunt to three different locations each with a note, bible verse, pictures, and new destination. The fourth and final note lead Alyssa up to Manhattan Hill. As she walked down the path, there Lane was with one last and final note. It said "Every time I think of you, I give thanks to my God. Phillipians 1:3" There he got down on one knee and asked Alyssa to marry him! With the help of a few of their wonderful friends, they were able to capture the moment perfectly. They celebrated the night together sharing the news with family and friends.

Over the course of our relationship, we have had so many experiences together that we will remember for a lifetime. From traveling, going to concerts, attending athletic events, anniversaries, and many dates, it has all led to this day. Enjoy a little timeline of major events that we have shared together. -August 2013: We shared our first date where we got ice cream and went up to Manhattan Hill! -November 9, 2014: Lane traveled with the Kulp family to Green Bay for a Packer's game. -May 3, 2015: Lane attended Riley County's prom with Alyssa, their first prom shared together! -May 2016: Both Lane and Alyssa graduated high school on the same day at different schools! -July 26, 2016: We went to a Royal's game (We try to go to one every year-it's tradition for us!) -September 30, 2017: We went to Luke Bryan and Jon Pardi with a few of our friends! -July 3, 2017: Lane and Alyssa traveled with friends to Galveston, Texas. -July 25, 2017: Alyssa traveled with the Liby family to St. Pete Beach, Florida. -October 22, 2018: Lane and Alyssa went to a Chief's game with the Kulp family. -August 31, 2018: Lane and Alyssa celebrated their 5 year anniversary! -March 12, 2019: We traveled to Colorado with friends and got snowed in by the Bomb Cyclone. -August 21, 2019: Lane proposed and Alyssa said YES! Among these great memories, we went to many of each other's high school sporting events, KSU sporting events, attended many concerts, date nights, and spent a lot of time with each other's families. We are thankful for each of these moments that have built our relationship, and can't wait to be Mr. and Mrs. Liby!
