Flight
The closest major airport to Estes Park is Denver International Airport. Estes is a scenic 1hr 20min drive from the airport. The main airport is chronically under construction (kind of like the Midwest). Upon your departure we recommend you give yourself a little extra time to find your check in location and to ride the tram to your terminal.
Rental Car
Estes Park offers a shuttle to and from Denver International Airport. The cost is 155$ per person, round trip. If you would like to use the shuttle service you must pay for the shuttle and book pickup/drop off times in advance. The shuttle service recommends booking your rides at LEAST one week prior to your arrival.
House Or Rental
A lot of lodging in Estes can be found on Airbnb. Our personal recommendations include the following: - If you dont mind a slightly longer drive to our venue (25+min), we recommend renting one of the cottages or condos along scenic "Fall River Road". A lot of these have real working fireplaces and/or hot tubs. Additionally, these are close to the Fall River entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park (which is typically less crowded than the Beaver Meadows entrance). - If you prefer to be within ~15min of our venue, we recommend renting a house or condo near Mary's Lake off of route 7. These would be ideal for larger groups who want to split the cost of accommodations, as they typically have ~3-4 bedrooms. Whatever you choose, we recommend booking early as the weekend before Memorial Day is busy for Estes. Additionally, there are several other weddings happening that weekend.
House Or Rental
If you prefer a more upscale lake feel, Estes Park Resort and Spa has cabins you can rent. Search for "Mountain Village at Lake Estes" on google. These are fully loaded, newly renovated cabins starting at 300$ per night (depending on the cabin, day of the week, time of year etc). You can also book a hotel room in the resort for 140-170$ per night "The Ember" is a good restaurant found inside the resort. Individuals staying at the cabins or in the resort have the option to book a session at Qi Lounge Wellness Spa (found on the bottom floor of the resort) for massage, facials, sauna etc.
